Hi, As i think If you leave a detailed response on a blog and they install do follow, it will count the same as any back link and help you rank well in search engines. Thanks.
Here is a great Firefox extension that will show you whether a link is followed or not: http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/
Im real confused --- if I post a link, like this: <a href="http://www.yahoo.com">Yahoo</a> Is that a "Do Follow" link??
Some blogs are configured to have "nofollow" on their code. When a blog or site was configured with nofollow and you post that code, you will notice on it's source code like this: <a href="http://www.yahoo.com" rel="nofollow">Yahoo</a>
That's why you have to comment on old blogs like mine that have "do-follow" enabled for all of my articles. Also I don't badge up my site so when the bot visits the bells and whistles don't go off.
LOL...yeah all of the comments on blogger type blogs are pretty much useless for link building. That's why it's important to steer clear of these blogs for commenting.
