Stymiee of sitepoint didn't believe me that you can gain backlinks in Answers but i do believe that even if it has a no follow attribute like Answerbag, you can gain backlinks from here

 

if you were website is not revenant to the question people will flag it, and if your answer is flagged two times your accounts will be deleted.

If you are giving the right and informative answers, then it is not a spam. And you are targetting your specific community yu can easily add your site's links in the posts and signatures. Because all this is related to the questions.

Please don't say useless. It may be useless for the people who just need to raise the PR and dont care about the traffic and SERPs.

Yahoo answers will not give you a rise in PR.

But it will give you more traffic, more revenue and better search engine position and link popularity.

This is such a stupid thing to say.
Why do you want dofollow links?
To increase your pagerank
Why do you want to increase pagerank?
To help do better in serps.
Why do want to do better in serps?
To get more traffic......

A well placed nofollow link will get you more traffic while cutting out all those inbetween stages.
