What do you think about Romania?

    I got this project in school, to ask peoples from other countries about what they think and/or heard about Romania.
    I am from there , so I'm interested too.

    They hate grof Dracula.
    They are pretty new member of the EU.
    Their food and fast food is crap.
    Their capital Bukarest has preserved its old look and feel with buildings dating from the 15 centry and earlier!

    When I hear the word Romania I think of this kid that I went to school with that would talk about how he was from Romania every chance he could. :/

    The first thing I associate with Romania is their gymnastics team. They usually do quite well in the Olympics.

    Great I see that are some positive answers and negative. That's it. My cousin just left Romania and he went to UK. He bought a house near London. He is more happy there than here.
    Still waiting for your answers brothers.
    And by the way we are very proud with our gymnastics team.
