As far as im aware, you have until the 25th May to get the PP's in place, although im unaware of what they will do for those not with one in place.

I dont think they are going to kick possibly tens of thousands who are still unaware of it, i still have a site i need to get a pp for, all my other sites with adsense ive sorted.

Realistically i dont think its a final demand, but i do think they expect webmasters to be working on it at least.

Not sure about the actual letter of the law - but I have had adsense up on many sites for a long time with no PP. However - I do know that if you are playing Adwords-PPC - a Privacy policy is not required, but will reduce your bid amount - This and contact page.

I wonder how they detect if there is a PP on the site? Perhaps the adsense bots searches for any link that say privacy.html or php etc. and if it doesn't detect any on the site using a algorythem then you get a warnign email?
    (This is only my assumption)

I don't think they can really do it with human employees. It would be nearly an impossible task to do.

It's simple -- don't take the risk. It's in the TOS and it takes about five minutes to implement. In the time you wrote that message you could have posted a PP and been done with it.

"is it true that if i dont i would lose my adsense account"

Not sure if that is true. I think you should add a privacy report in order to be on the safe side.
