Traffic

How is it we all have access to the same information, but some have 100 UV per day, and others have 10,000?

How can we determine that spending on hour on a certain activity to boost traffic, isn't pointless?

I'm looking at developing a few profitable sites, around a niche i'm passionate about.

I'm not a programmer, so will have to pay for the sites to be made.

My main worry is traffic, i know it takes time even when you have traffic, but still, traffic is the issue here.

    I need quite high volume.

    Thoughts appreciated.

You've got to stop worrying and start *doing* --only then will you learn. A hosting account that costs a few dollars per month can host 2, 5 or even 10 WordPress installations. Then you can experiment as you build traffic.

I just wrote about that today --until you start doing nothing happens. There is no silver bullet. Just consistent, daily work.

    Success,
    Sam

One way backlinks from article marketing is good. Blogging and social bookmarking is great for traffic and search engine bait. Go for backlinks.

Have a bookmark this site and tell a friend page on your site. Be sure and have a RSS subscription form on your blog.

Fresh traffic is good, but repeat traffic is great. The best way to build your daily visitors is to get repeat traffic along with new traffic!

The same way that thousands have learned to play guitar but only a small group become household names like Clapton, Hendrix and etc. Those guys weren't born with super music abilities, they worked hard to develop them.

It's not having the information that counts, it's using it with a determination to succeed.

With that determination comes a commitment to research, test and analyze until you find what works for you and your site(s) and what doesn't. The same techniques don't work across the board for everyone, so you have to weed out what's right for you and your site(s), then expand on the positives.

Traffic is a building process, you find something that brings you 100 visitors today and do it twice as much tomorrow, then three times as much the next day...

Revenue works the same. Find something that earns you a dollar and do it twice to earn two dollars, then three times to earn three and so on.
