Which matching is best: Broad, Phrase or Exact?

    Which matching is best: Broad, Phrase or Exact
    I am novice in Adword, Please suggest
    I have started campaign with broad match for affiliate program related keywords and got
    343 Impressions 2 clicks
    how can I increase clicks and conversions?

    This really depends on the words / phrases. It's possible that you are getting impressions on matches that are irrelevant but matched due to the use of broad. I'm not saying broad is bad, but you need to consider the term and how it is used.

    For example, if I were advertising office phones, I would likely use negative for the following terms:
    cell
    mobile
    cellular

    I would likely consider phrase matches for
    office phone deals
    deals on office phones

    Avoiding the broad single term keywords that would obviously get impressions, but not many click-throughs:
    free
    phone

    Hopefully that helps a bit if not added more confusion. :confused:

    As was mentioned, if you're getting a bad click-through rate, I would take a hard look at negative keywords.

    Also, you might want to check and see if your ads are displaying on the publisher network. I always recommend splitting the search campaign away from the publisher network campaign, as those two advertising areas often require different strategies to be successful, and the stats aren't very helpful if you have both of them activated on a single campaign.
