If I put $50 into an AdWords account and use CJ, is that enough to get some reasonable earnings? I'm thinking of using Dada.net, which pays $18 for a ringtone sale. Are there better advertisers? I'm just getting started and don't earn much (and don't use SEM at all), but I want some decent earnings so I want to begin using AdWords if it works well. So is $50 enough to start, and is Dada.net a good advertiser? Thanks!
You can waste a lot of money using adwords unless you play it smart. Your best bet is to use long tail keywords for your niche (to get high targeted traffic).
Starting with adwords PPC and ringtones is NOT a good idea. You'll burn through $50 in about 3 mins with ringtones. Start with something a little less competitive.
You better save $50 and try to find some free traffic to test products. You can get free traffic from sites like squidoo, digg and etc.
I agree with all of the above! I would try some free approaches first.. see if you've created an effective landing page, etc.. then dip into some PPC. I personally would recommend YSM over AdWords if you're just starting out. You get decent traffic.. and it's much much cheaper. If you've written a successful ad there, then try it out on AdWords, and move on from there. I haven't done much offer/landing page stuff.. but primarily use PPC to only drive traffic to various store fronts. hanji
There is no guarentee that an X amount will bring in an X amount of profit. I and I am sure all of us wish it was that simple. You can spend litterly hundreds of dollars and loose all or you can spent a few dollars and have a killing. Start with free traffic and make sure it's converting, then start slowely with ppc
