As a rule-of-thumb, I stay away from all software that does not have a public forum, that I can peruse and understand the issues associated with the product. This approach has served me well, and kept me out of trouble. Too many developers out there trying to make a quick buck without delivering the goods.

I don't know where you found this link, but I couldn't find it on the datingpro site. If they are somehow related, it is not obvious, and this type of confusion is another indicator of a messy organization. But if you like what you see, by all means use it. I personally wouldn't go near it. I really dislike the hoaky way that business is conducted on the Web. It seems like there is a scam at every turn.

No avoid that script - better run away.
Use Joomla with CB, Groupjive or Elgg or Drupal or phpizabi or Boonex - whatever
you want :) . If you want to invest money check out vbb or invision.

I've never heard of the script before - but open source Elgg does a similar thing - why don't you give that a try first... at least it's free and you won't lose any money...

I heard only positive oppinions about PG Social Networking software. What i like most of all is free and fast support. But if you hesitate, you have the opportunity to test the trial version, :)
