This is why McCain is dangerous. He not only doesn't know econ, he doesn't know foreign policy.

Remember his insistence that Iran was helping Al Queda?

This is a good one from AmCon.

Yes, that's right kids. Ahmadinejad is a figurehead. I've only been posting that for what, 4, 6 months now?

I respect McCain because it must take some serious effort to be crazier than Bush and still be running for president.

I'll admit that occasionally McCain seems to tell the truth about something. It's not that often, certainly not often enough for the "straight talker" label. But he does seem to do it from time to time. He also seems to have a not completely horrible sense of humor.

Obama has a lot of real life experience. Barrack was raised in a foreign country and attends a liberation church.

I get the feeling that you do, McCain is straight-foward. I do not agree with him on many of the issues, but at least when he talks I feel like he is speaking his mind to some extent. Of course many of his answers are canned like most politicians, but I do see him as more of a straight shooter.

I don't know if all the stuff in there is really represented or presented fairly, but McCain has become much less of a maverick straight talker this time around. I think he finally realized that if you want to be elected president these days you have to pander, no matter which side you're on.
But one thing you have to give him credit for is his support for the war. Even if you think it's a horrible and stupid decision, which most people do today according to the polls, McCain has not backed away from his support. I really think he believes in it because with the disapproval for the war with the american public there's absolutely nothing to be gained from pro-war political posturing when it comes to getting elected.
Hillary, on the other, would never take a position that she didn't feel was politically smart. I really believe the only real principles her and Bill have is to win, at whatever cost. Obama, I don't know, I don't really know him, that's probably why I like him. :)

That's probably why he's backing away from Hagee now, since it comes out that Hagee has been caught making anti-semetic statements that won't float with the PNAC crowd. When Hagee was in the news for bashing Muslims & Catholics, it played right to the nationalist base, now its suddenly a liability.
