I used to play chess with my grandfather. But now I grew up, don't visit him so often, so we play not so much as we used to...
Everyone in our family plays chess. My grandfather and his two younger brothers played chess and so do my father, his two brothers and a number of cousins. Me and my brother and many of our cousins also play. But most of the time it is the traditional Indian chess and not the international one.
Any chess players might want to check out http://www.freechess.org/ or http://www.chessclub.com/ . I do not play chess but some of you chess players might want to join a team and play in competitions through teamchess.org. I have worked with teamchess.org and pawnmates.com regarding their webs.
Played from the time I could reach a chess table to a few years back. Got to the point, I either could find no competition or I got trounced by too many masters. Now I am into the old people game....dominoes! hahahahahaha
Haven’t thought about chess for a very long time now. I would play if had someone to play with. I still remember that it was my uncle that taught me how to play when I was very still very young.
i just joined that gameknot blitz chess, busted out of few games, it was pretty fun. I think I will start playing again
I was hooked to chess when I was in gradeschool. Now that I am a full adult, I could not anymore identify the different chess characters.
Chess creates strong problem solving skills thus I love to play it. On a side note its simply awesome and you can use it to always think ahead. cheers
