    Hello everyone,

Noticed that my indexed pages has the title of my blog added at the beginning of each post title showing in the results...

Does that interfere with SEO and ranking? Is there a way to remove the blog's name from titles indexed?

This depends, if your main keywords are in your blog title it's fine. However, if they aren't related you should remove them from the title tags. Remember, the title tag should be used to provide a short sweet summary of the web page's content; make this for visitors not search engines, and yes searchers don't like keyword stuffed titles.

The title is somehow related, yes...

But I'd prefer for the indexed post titles to carry only theirs... not with the main blog's title at the beginning, as this would interfere with SEO!

I don't know if I should erase the blog title from wordpress options... doesn't sound right.... is there another way? Are all wordpress blogs like that?

Default Wordpress Titles are really not ideal, i strongly suggest for you to install the All In One SEO Pack which controls your Titles and makes them far more SEO friendly then the default Wordpress ones.

I do have All In One SEO (can't live without it!)... does that mean I can now remove the default title?

I just don't want it to be showing in the search results, which should display only the title of the POST.... will the All In One SEO title for the blog be showing too in results?

    Thanks sweetfunny.... done that.

Now, is it necessarily to remove the default title.... is it by default (without All In One SEO) formated to be:

    %post_title% - %blog_title%

    ?

Or will All In One SEO override?
