i know someone who got a PR6 in only 6 months.. i heard a lot of people saying that you can get a PR5 in a few years.. but a PR6??
whoa, that's pretty extreme In 6 months I've probably gotten a PR3 or 4, but 6!!! wow! what type of site was it?
i dont think so Google takes much time to crawl links and take lot of time to decide the PR of site according to the linking sites
If you get a good PR7 link a month or so before a PR update you can get a PR6. It all depends how many outgoing links the PR7 has.
it doesn't matter the time, I easly got rank5 in 3 month all depend of the site, external link and the way the site is build
once i got pr5 in a single update, (about 4 new inner pages was pr5 but the main page was pr4) had a pr8 paid link pointing at the home page those days
True..but how many people do you know have a homepage link on CNN, YouTube, Yahoo or Facebook. I don't know anyone!
My site is PR6 and its only 5 months old! I've been blogging since Jan. Never bought or sold links. Never will. What are you talkin bout? O_O of course google can give you that.
I totally agree with the above, it's all about the links pointing to your site and that's it... time is not really a factor in here.
I got a PR5 by my blogs first update. I had a lot of links though. Does anyone what the fewest links it takes to get a PR5? Like how many PR5 or PR6 links does it take?
This should help - http://www.smartpagerank.com/pagerank-calculation-chart.php The above is a rough guide but I think for the most part it is pretty accurate. It's important to remember that the PR values are not as simple as 5, 6, 7 - There is an entire scale e.g. 5.0000001 to 7.9999999 etc. So one PR5 site might be a higher PR5 site than another. Also, remember the sites outgoing PR (passed weight) figure is distributed amongst the outgoing links on the page. So the above chart claims 81 PR4's will get you a PR5 - this figure may be higher or lower depending on what other sites the 81 PR4's link out to.
i get a PR3 for my blog http://tomstricks.blogspot.com in just 2 months. My blog created at last week of February 2008 and at may1 and i got PR3 for my blog(no quality back links but daily updated with fresh contents)
Yes, its definitely possible, I've seen PR6 in less than a year - 6 months would be darned hard though!
