How do I start a proxy?

    I know proxys are big business, but I was wondering...are there any free scripts? Where can I submit to to start getting traffic? And what ad networks can I use on proxies?

    Buy a 99 cent .info domain, get cheap but reliable proxy hosting and use glype proxy script. these should help you started :)

    Hi mate try reading this tutorial on here,

    I am updating the tutorial next week with a new fresh very in depth tutorial which will basically bring every aspect of a proxy site together from the domain, to development, monetizing and marketing. However due to lack of time i have not yet got round to adding this.

    Should be next week.
    Also got some proxy video tutorials to add, again lack of time has got the better of me, and it will be available for download via pdf.

    Glype is the nicest proxy script in my opinion. Just buy a cheap domain + a nice hosting company. There you go.

    But if you want to bring in a real cashflow, don't be a cheap ass. Buy a VPS and get .com domains. That is the real way to go my friend.

    Ok now a VPS would be a good way to go if you were to have a large network of proxy sites perhaps. But for someone who was just starting of in the proxy market i would not suggest this.

    However .com domains i would suggest if you were going to be keeping the proxy sites for over a year this may be a feasible idea, the reason behind this is because they look more professional you may get more money for them in the end when you come to sell them and they may rank better (however i am not sure if that has been proven).

    Please give a quick advice on how to monetize proxy traffic.

    I had proxy websites that used to get tens of thousands visitors per day, but almost no revenue.
    Seems like AdSense does not work for proxies anymore, and so do many majer ads networks,
    what are other options?

    For me - only glype script.

    Zelune - yeah nice but I had some admins panel problems (not loading) so I said "no"
    PHPproxy - well rumour says that urls made by this script are instantly banned ;)
