How often does googlebot visit the Digitalpoint forums? I started a thread the other day, about a live score script. I then started to search fot the answer via google and the thread i posted was in googles results 20 minutes later.
I have a few smaller forums and have 3 or 4 googlebots on the site constantly. I think something has large as DP will have 50+ bots on it at one time. Probably more.
it rarely ever leaves "my site" which is only 5 months old, crawls through almost 100k pages per day every single day for months straight so im sure dp is worth spidering more then my site. what i have never seen is what some say "5 different bots at one time" from google all i get is 1 ip for there bot, when it changes to a different ip then it stays with that 1. My new pages dont get added instantly like dp either, have to figure that one out .
I have a small forum (www.whooked.com) and there's a Google bot there all the time. Threads get indexed within 30 mins. And OMG the Yahoo Slurps. Sometimes 30 of them come at once. lol So yeah a few Google bots probably live at DP.
i made a hosting thread the other day i was shocked in less then 5 mins after posting it , It showed up on google search Results i was searching my site Ftnhosting.net to see if anything else has poped up on google
