Hi, My first job was in a Urea production factory. I joined as an Instrument Technition and it was a fun working in a chenical plant. It was a multinational ICI Ltd. and lot of facilities and a good pay. I do work here for last two decades. As I have a intrest in new technoligies so I spend 4-5 hours in internet. This is about me and now I would like to know about my fellow DP Members. Besides net websites what their firs job was ? Let's here from all of you. khalid
Mine was to sell liquor at a duty free shop.. talk about getting paid & getting best liquor @ the lowest possible price. (I used to smuggle some for me & sum for my friends)
Mine was as a JR. ASP Programmer and those are horrible days for me. I was working at company about 10-12 hours just for 6000 INR (150$) Per Month
it was a blow lol jokes aside, I was a sales assistant at the local post office/newsagent (tiny shop, basicly sat and read, took some money sometimes and rung it up in the till, pretty good job for when I was 16+17)
I've had three 'real' jobs in my life. Two outta three sucked nutz. 1. Detailing cars when I was 16 - I lasted 1 day. Got wet feet and hated it. 2. Making venetian blinds when I was 17 - I lasted 1/2 a day, went home at lunch time. 3. Working in my friends video game store (SNES/Neo-Geo etc) in the mid 90s, it totally fkn rocked - we opened at 11am every day, sold nothing, and had a wicked time doing it. That lasted about 6 months until the money dried up
I my first job ammmmmm.... nowhere because still studying. But I have been organizing tours for a nature and heritage society which pays me. If that could be considered as job then yes I have.
I didn't get a permanent job before as I'm still a student. But my first part time job is be a cashier in a CD shop
My son is going to join accenture next month. He will join Hyderabad India, what about your location. Can you give some tips as a senior in same organisation. Thanks.
