Does adwords need a backup credit card before showing your ads?

    Does adwords need a backup credit card before showing your ads? I have it setup with only a primary card but yet no ad impressions shown in the first two days now...

    No, you don't need a backup credit card. Your account's new. As such, it must be reviewed before your ads are allowed to go online. You are currently in a queue, awaiting review. If you want to speed up the reviewing process, contact Adwords.
