Currently we are using SunShop: turnkeywebtools.com - Overall it is working out nicely for us. It has a lot of great features such as discount codes built it, gift certificates, the ability to modify orders etc. They have a lot of payment modules built, but if you require special addons you will have to either do it yourself or hire someone else to do it for you. They offer custom work, but from what I have read they are backlogged and are not currently accepting custom work. The system also allows you to generate static html pages if you want for better SEO. Overall a pretty decent system. One downside is: If you require support for a problem that is non-bug related you basically need to purchase support points from them for support issues. They sell the points in packages, and deduct points based on your support issue. They do have a forum, but they are quick to point you to the support ticket system - Perfect system if they didnt charge money for support points. To date we have not had any issues that have required support.

Magento looks pretty good, never heard of it before today. I will probably try it on future sites...and opensource even better! :) (magentocommerce.com)
