Difference between google and yahoo backlinks ?

hello everybody

I noticed that there is a huge difference between the number of backlinks on yahoo and google when you're looking for them

for exemple my website got 100 backlinks from yahoo and 0 or 1 from google , this even after having added the website on several directory , forum , website ...

so i wonder what are the differences that make a link be considered as a backlinks by yahoo and not by google ? and is it possible to make google aware of yahoo backlinks ?

ps: i know this is about my own situation but i think it's all about google so i posted it in this section

google doesn't report all backlinks and yahoo does

Google shows very few of your backlinks. If you want to check all of your links in Google, install Google webmaster tool code in your site and then check all of your link there

 

yahoo provides correct inlinks and outlinks of your site

 

Google move backlink function to Webmaster tool is because check backlink is not really necessary for normal users.
