How do you get enough clicks to meet your budget in the content network?

It seems that no matter what I do and no matter how many ad groups I have I can't meet the budget I set in the content network. I'm only paying around $.05 or $.07 a click which is nice but I'm only getting a few clicks a day. Usually around 10 clicks. My budget is set to $20 but I never really get close to that. Especially with my new campaign. How can I increase the amount of clicks I get? If I create z bunch of ad groups with keywords that are completely irrelevant to what I'm promoting Google will pause my campaign.

your bid is most likely too low for volume.

You are probably just scraping the left over ad impressions Google is willing to give away at that price.

Well, my bid is set at $.15 a click but most of my clicks only cost about $.05 or $.07.

    exactly...

your bid is way to low. You probably need to be bidding closer to .50 or $1 for your industry, maybe even more, who know

If it's a new account, they do cap you. Once you have a good history with them, they'll sell you more and more traffic.

$.50 or $1.00 is a complete rip-off and waste of money. I honestly question whether Adwords produces the results that people claim it does.

Are you tracking exactly how much return you are getting?

It doesn't really matter how much you pay for a click provided your overall return on your clicks is a profit.
