These are a list of words that link to your website with anchor text and also anchor text of your site content.
So if you click "what googlebot sees" at the google webmaster tools you can come through this option.
Can anyone give advice about how to optimize or use these words.

    Hi,

not sure exactly what you are asking but whatever google sees as your site,

your H tags, keywords/phrases and page descrition must all marry together in the right ways to increase your page rank.

This googlebot function is useful to help you see what google sees and to change what you need to, ensuring great seo.

It appears as though no one has a clue on this topic based on the prior posts. From my understanding, ‘What GoogleBot Sees’ gives you an idea of how you are linked (the ‘anchor text’ used) by other websites. Hence, if ‘free online games’ is ranked at the top of the list – that is the anchor text used by the majority of links pointing to my website. You can optimize it by getting other websites to use more descriptive anchor texts; so a link labelled as ‘free online games’ would be more favourable than a link pointed as ‘click here.’ By inciting other webmasters to alter the text they use to link to you, Google Bot will associate you better with the given keywords and consequently improve your rankings. I hope this clears your confusion; and let me know if you have any additional questions! :)

because that is an example of what the googlebot sees, when they last saw it and if the googlebot is viewing something that you don't want them to see

Not sure what you mean by the bot seeing the cache of your site.

The Google cache is a cached version of your website in case your site is ever down and a visitor wants to view it.

    ie; http://72.14.205.104/search?hl=en&rlz=1B3GGGL_enUS273US275&q=cache:apple.com&btnG=Search

look at the top it says:

    This is G o o g l e's cache of http://www.apple.com/ as retrieved on 18 May 2008 06:40:26 GMT.

You have to improve your link text (the anchor text of the links you leave in the others sites.) For example: if your site is about pink roses then external links to your site should have words like: roses, plants, pink, flowers, and etc. But not: click here, here, site, your name, etc etc :)

I'm not sure if there's a lot more to it than that.
It merely reflects the anchor texts pointing to you.
