I'm thinking of offering customers a free gift (small piece of software) if they purchase though my affiliate links. I know that ClickBank TOS forbids monetary incentives (rebates, vouchers and the like). What about software, memberships etc? Is it possible that specific publishers would have rules against it? I do recall that there were threads on this matter here but had hard time finding them.
I see people do it all the time so you should be ok, as long as it is not monetary. But you can e-mail them to be on the safe side
Actually Clickbank does not forbid bonuses. They only forbid that someone gets a refund for the bonus not living up to it's standards or actually not even receiving their bonus. I use Fast JV for this. Once someone orders through my link they enter their receipt number on a page I have set up and are automatically sent to a bonus page. It's amazing.
Hi, this is allowed I do it all the time for big promotings and great niches. It makes a person want to buy through your link as they are getting more for their money instead of going directly through the vendors sales page. Go for it. Make sure you have rights though for the software.
I do that when I promote products related to the IM niche. Just to have a better advantage than the other affiliates. I ask them to send me the name that they use to get the product and then after verification I send them a link where they will just choose the bonuses that they want. Sometimes I even ask them for a testimonial.I don't think it's an illegal thing to do but if it is let me know so I can switch my campaigns
