They are commercial sites. "If you can't get in the front door, there usually is another door in the back." That's the only tip (actually a riddle) I'm offering. Like anything else, this method will get whored out and I won't carry any responsibility for that.
It wouldn't have got whored by me that's for certain but I do understand your point. If you ever feel like letting me know via p.m one day I'd appreciate it but will understand if you don't.
The search engines are wise to this, and I wasn't aware that backdoors exist on directories. Although there was a nasty rumour being spread around a few years back that you can get into the Yahoo directory for free by submitting to the Yahoo UK & Ireland directory. That doesn't work by the way, I tried it several times at varying intervals. But that's the 'secret tip' doing the rounds..... But it's certainly not a secret The obvious thing here is the fact many are asking how to get a free listing in Yahoo, don't know it's not possible yet. I assure you by now, Yahoo know about this little trick, but if I do get in, then I'll rush here and tell you how okay....... If I don't, then you'll know it's not possible to do. Having submitted to Yahoo dir myself many times, I know there is no backdoor to Yahoo, and am convinced the rumour was started to simply wind people up. It's not funny or helpful to do that.
