Paypal, unconfirmed address sent

    is it safe to send a high value auction item overseas to unconfirmed address?
    just curious because anything can happen, i got screwed over many times before

    I would ask for a wire transfer if the guy/gal cannot get such address verified.

    For most parts of the world, the address listed would be shown as Unconfirmed even if they are verified. I believe that only those members from the US and possibly Canada and UK can get their address confirmed. However, what you do is only deal with verified paypal accounts.

    If you are sending a high ticket item then ask them to send you Photo ID or something, just to be sure that he is who he claims to be. And then only shipped via courier service like DHL or Fedex with online tracking.
