hello there, 2 weeks ago i ask paypal to downgrade my account from business to permier... but paypal said they are facing some techinical probllem which is why they cant downgrade any account.... so i want to know did anyone have downgrade there account recently.... please let me know so i can know what mind game they are playing with me....
Oh that sounds serious.I guess,paypal is surely facing some technical issues. Last friday,i have received an eCheck,but till not its not cleared. I called paypal 3 times,but they say,it will be cleared by next week,as some upgradation work is going on their side.
I have also received some e-check but until now I am facing some uncleared e-check abbout and I have already asked around 5 times to downgrade my account from premier to personal but it's taking time and they say that they have some technical problems until now.
ah ok.... i guess they are doing something from the last 3 weeks.... which is why there system is not working properly.... paypal told me to submit a ticket for the downgrade using contact form so i did that again today... i hope after next week they will be able to downgrade me....
I downgraded my account 2 months back,i called them up and then told them that i want to downgrade to premiere and that guy did it in just 2 minutes.So u better call them instead of writing emails.
yeah whats up with those echecks, i have a couple thats over 2-3 weeks and still uncleared.. whats the point of downgrading anyways? so echecks could be cleared faster?
Yesterday, I contacted paypal customer service using email for dowgrading my business account to become personal account. Less than 7 hours, my account was become personal account. Maybe you can try again to contact paypal customer service using email or more better if you cal them.
But big difference in fees between premier/business and personal accounts as personal accounts do not need to pay any fees when receiving Paypal balance from others. Business and premier accounts pay the same fee but business accounts can have multiple users plus you can use your company name instead of your personal name.
i called them 2 times regarding downgrade of my account but the man said i need to submit a ticket through there contant form and he will forward my problem to there techinical department... because paypal is having several tech. issue is what he said to me both time....

thanks for the link... however i did that also after paypal customer care told me to submit a ticket through contant us form so that he can forward my ticket to there techinical department.... its over 48 hours i guess and still no change....
alright paypal finally downgrade my account from business to personal.... but only after 3 weeks time... they said i should have submit a ticket in the first place rather then calling them....
