Best Image Gallery In Terms Of SEO?

what would you suggest for a wallpaper image gallery ? am looking for something highly optimized for search engines.. kindly give me the name of the script.. reps are always from myside..

iam getting this thread rank 1 in google for various gallery and SEO keywords.. but nobody replying to this.. So, we got members here having 100000000 posts without knowing which is the best gallery in terms of SEO?

 

Gallery Menalto is a good one.
But I prefer using Image Gallery Plugin from CMS. a simple approach using drupal can be seen here: http://alztudio.com/image/tid/9
SEO is handled by the CMS, not the gallery

Gallery 2 like someone else suggested rocks for SEO. It uses MOD rewrite on categories and images, have a look at one of ours http://www.pureanimegallery.com. This is one has a few custom SEO tweaks but is very much standard.

I've scoured the net for the best SEO gallery and Gallery 2 is it.

 

whats this extra 'v' in your domains.. i think thats horrible in terms of SEO.. the current pr of your site doesnt match with your awesome website..

 

the 'v' is part of the Gallery 2 MOD-rewrite system. It uses 'd' and I think 'f' as well. It's for interal usage and file system. It's something that doesn't look right, but necessary for organising things.

Gallery2 is awesome, the left hand nav panel is autogenerated, and has some really clever watermarking features. For example if someone hotlinks one of the pictures from the gallery it overlays a watermark. Or, it's possilbe to turn off hotlinking and people leeching pictures. It usird an internal function which checks the IP of the site using the image. If it doesn't match then it doesn't work.

Gallery2 rocks. I've tried Zen photo, 4homepages.de, and Drupy. None are as good as G2 for search engines. G2 is the best for a standalone gallery.

I like Gallery 2 but finding a good template is the hard job, and not many image gallery are SEO optimized

 

Gallery2 is the best for SEO by a long chalk.

I'm afraid that there are not a lot of themes for it. I download one that mostly suites my purpose then go and change things in the smarty templates. It requires a little fiddling around but you can get some good results with perserverance.

Gallery2 is a bit bulky these days so you'll need a good server to run it from.

You can also run a Drupy / Gallery2 combo to give you a CMS/Portal with the cool gallery management of G2. It would require some developing time but the modules exist and are known to work well together.

 

I'm also looking for a script/CMS to run a wallpaper site. Is here any wordpress plugin or script that can run a full featured wallpaper site or will I have to go for other CMS?

 

I Have Used Coppermine For A Wallpapers Site Its Easy To Use And A Good Option

 

Coppermine does pretty well with the SEO plugin, and the sitemap plugin that you can submit to your webmaster tools sitemap bit for your site.
