Is there a website that hasn't been created? Is there even a genre of websites that's not being covered very well? Curious as to what you may post . . .
genres..probably not...new ideas...always...as technology/development/society changes, new ideas will always be out there. It's coming up with them that's the problem!
Exactly! It's a "Time can only tell" kinda thing. With the way web development is working these days, we're bound to see new ideas pop up..eventually
This reminds me of something I was talking to my son about - he's 10 and starting to use the internet for school projects - I was telling him how awesome the internet is and that he could find anything on it. I said, if you wanted to find something on hairy butts you google hairy butts and bam" so, what did he do? Googled "hairy butts" and what did he get? a website with a bunch of pictures of hairy butts, lol (I need to be more careful with my examples) Anyway, this just makes me think that there REALLY isn't anything out there that hasn't been done.

Millions! Even I have a few startup ideas that are completely original. Simply find solutions to problems if you are stuck for ideas.
LOL at HAIRY BUTTS! Maybe we should see who can come up with the best idea to stump google. What would be a subject that would be rare on search engines... That plug was shameless. Anyways. Of course there are original ideas out there. As more technology is created the more opportunities that are available. The more obvious ones are usually quickly filled but as twitter,stumple upon,facebook if you have a great idea and stick at it. You'll become a success.
Yeah, that was a pretty blatant plug. Sorry. I doubt any of the inventors of those big sites actually thought it would take off like they did...so you never know what may be the next big thing. Every ten year old and their brother knows code now, so take an idea and go with it.
What are you guy's fave sites of people from Digital Point? I saw someone who had a link to www.empeethree.com or something like that. I thought that was kinda cool. (I have nothing to do with that - lol - no plugs...)
There are always new ideas and niches not filled. It only depends on where you look. If you look where everyone is looking, you wont find anything not already done. I have one very good business idea up my sleeve. And it is in such a big money niche where you never would expect to find such a big missing part like this! We'll see how this works out...
