I'm experiencing some slow 2-3 days with Clickbank... I increased my traffic at least 50% but I'm not seeing the results I should be seeing... Is it just me... or are sales down a little? Thanks,
you should check the flow, maybe there's a problem...(landing page> link> sale page>order button).I had 2 bad days recently because I had a problem with my links....that's why I advise you to check if everything is working correctly.
I don't get the reason of these kind of threads Obviously, you will have more sales or less sales during a week/month or whatever period it is, but what's the point of creating these types of threads almost every week?
It makes me feel good other people are having issues as well. It calms me down, thinking it's not just me. Bad days make me work a lot harder to improve sales. Which isn't a bad thing, but I feel horrible during the time being, sick to my stomach. Plus, it gives me ideas on what could be wrong, if it could be something I can fix, etc.
Well, if there are any problems with sales, Clickbank inform everyone, if not, it means you've got something wrong.
Clickbank never inform customers about problems and when i suddenly get no sales for 2 days something is wrong. The problem is that Clickbank expect us to trust them and considering they can funnel off cash from affiliates any time they like without any evidence i think they need reminding that we can see big changes in a pretty much constant pattern of sales.
One says that he gets an increased flow of sales, another one comes to tell that he only sees zeros for a week. I'm sorry to burst the bubble - none of us knows what's going on. Unless a ClickBank representative comes and says "Sorry guys, we've been having issues, we didn't tell you about them, and you maybe lost thousands of dollars", we can't know for sure why you're having slow sales. nadavs
Hey king: Could be: * Weekend * Product trend * Competitor * Problems with payment * Changes on sales page(s) * SEO changes, algorithm updates * Your campaign is dying/got sniped * Your marketing methods need expanding * Your endorsed product just had a competitor enter the market * Just a bad day/week/month <<Analyze but don't beat a dead horse. I would re-evaluate what you are promoting and how - perhaps it's none of the above and it's nothing more than economy and like you said 'a slow couple days'. Don't let it get you sick to your stomach. I understand it makes you work harder, but does it make you work smarter? Or panic and try to play catch-up... Do you have at least 3 marketing methods down pat on a daily? Do you have at least 100 hops a day to each product? Do you have both paid and free targ. traffic? Do you trust your vendors? It could be anything. I kind of have to agree with the others, we need like a sticky for this type of stuff... the 'hows your day going' thread, and we can all just add to it when questioning our campaigns or if it's 'all good' today again... The top two threads in this section right now are a contradiction here and it happens quite often. PS - Fluctuations for me - as usual - these last few days. Norb.
Yeah I think NC Media hit it on the head King!! It could be anything , I think people find it convenient to blame clickbank for their troubles but most times its just the affiliates themselves and their methods they are using. But yeah working harder is great but working smarter is better!!
Thanks very much NCMedia, I agree there should be a sticky 'hows your day going' thread. I think that's a great idea, it'll get rid of threads like this, which I know there are a lot of. It's just weird, since the 16th it's kind of gone down hill... I mostly do SEO and I checked most of my sites... some of my bigger sites are receiving even more traffic then usual, I sent an email campaign two days ago, I got sales from it but not what I should have received, I use paid and free traffic. About 10/90 ratio. My venders have been good to me. Traffic has increased from what I can see... And a slow few days used to make me panic, especially when Clickbank was my only income source. I now have an eBook about which does about 4k a month in sales, which is nice. Working on a new one now, eBooks rule! It's probably just a couple bad days, it happens every once in awhile. I think one point is being missed here. Seasonal trend. Its that time of year. People spend less time on the net when weather gets good. They still search for the usual but many products will see a drop in searches unless your promoting travel detinations. The trend from memorial day weekend up to about mid August or September is fewer searches resulting in less traffic. Unless you have measures in place such as ramping up your campaigns then yes it hurts. I try to ramp up campaigns starting the beginning of April. I see this trend every year since 1999 and see the same threads every year. If you survive the weekend and sales pick up your are doing something right. Good luck! Its not really luck just lots of hard work.
This problem does raise your eyebrow a little bit. For example, with last week, I've experienced my first "at least a sale a day" week...including Sunday of last week (5/11) with a couple of sales. Then, this past weekend it dropped off to nothing. I'm pretty sure it has to do with trends, etc., but it does get to you a little bit...especially to a noob who've just gotten sales everyday for the previous 7 days and was feeling like a kid in the candy store.
It can be difficult to measure trends with only one or two sales per day. It can also be difficult to measure trends with one or two products. I average 40 - 50 sales per day and will see normal fluctuations based on a lot of factors including time of day, weekend vs. weekday, etc.
