hello everybody out there i have just developed a new site on loans. i know how to do SEO but a little bit confused bout how to get started and want to know new techniques from you guys please suggest some tactics on:confused how to promote my new site
do some link building techniques.. First manually submit your site to free directories .. Use your targeted keywords as your sigs to forums related to your site.. Submission to social bookmarking site.. Blog commenting.. after on page optimization to your site, you can start classified ads.. group postings.. and others..
I would say start with meta tags, link building, then build your seo up with social networking and article marketing . my 2 cents
of page work should be start as get free links from good quality web directories It can be come from article directories, web directories, Social book marking, comment posting, post in google groups, classified ads, press release and add your link in sign after this If you have budget then you can buy some paid links as well. On page work started by your meta tag search good search able keywords and add in your title tag and add articles on your site and giving some free advice or information which people like to read or you can also use link beat and anything interesting which people like to add your site in there bookmark. there are so many things more which you can do but for new sites these things are enough for starting

When you post comments on blog, put your keyword in the Name field so it becomes the anchor text for link back to your site.

just implement those traditional SEO strategies or methodologies, then once you've completed it, try to search and use some "new" tactics... how about trying SEM?
