I'm honestly not a "judge by looks" kind of person, but they do play a part. I mean if I can't stand the sight of someone then a date isn't going to go very well is it? I do prefer women to be presentable, clean, beautiful, etc... but i'd like someone better if they have a good personality than by their looks.
When it comes to something as non-intimate as dating, I'm pretty open...as long as I'm not ashamed of being caught in public with the girl, it's all good
Really? I'm honestly not. If I feel some kind of connection to someone (be it physical or mental attraction), I will date them, if not then I probably won't.
As superficial as this may make me seem - looks do count. A partner doesn't have to be gorgeous as such but at least have some attractive physical properties.. To counter that though, although a trophy girlfriend may seem great initially, the effect soon wears off if she has no intellectual substance (or at the very least some form of personality or character).
you've only made the poll results based on looks? what happens in 15 year when all those looks are sliding and fading away try adding the brain into the equations

Im pretty shallow when it comes to dating. I usually dont go for any girl under a 7 out of 10. Even though theyre good looking doesnt mean I will date them, they have to have a good personality. Horrible I know. I just need some eye candy.
OK this is not about me but generally: Guys are not THAT picky about who they have sex with, but picky about who they will stay with.
well seems like the poll result tell guys are picky since most require that at least the girl is presentable.
It's definitely the best thing to wait for one of them rather than hitting it with some ... umm... opposite of the above. So my option would be I only date a girl who I actually like and not wake up next to thinking "WTF did I do?"
I'm picky, not that it does me any good being married, but I'd never consider dating a woman that didnt have at least some sex appeal. I'm not afraid to say it, if you want to attract, you gotta be attractive, you can find out what they are made out of later. Guys look at a womans body and face long before they think about the rest of her even though the rest of her is what matters in the long run.
