Well as soon as I saw I have to pay for hosting and not be able to use mine, I knew it wasnt as good as they say. All pyramid schemes are the same. The one who comes up with it really makes millions :)

The experts? The Internet eGurus? Lol :D

Again, its not a Pyramid scheme its not a Ponzi scheme. Do not just throw around terminology because it looks c00l.

It may be a plain old scam, but we'll see in a week or so. So far there is nothing suspect or illegal about the AJ method. In case there are issues with AJ paying out our commission, given that Oniline iZoo is indeed a real world business, not an overhyped online messiah, we will pursue them and their assets with all that NZ and international laws have to offer. Thus I am not exactly worried :)

Try and think of that $2 per lead as a salary. Companies pay employees salaries in a belief that having these employees perform their work will generate a profit for the company. AJ is trusting in conversion rate of at least 1 in 50 or so leads taking up the iPower hosting package and thus turning in a profit. If AJ is wrong about this over a sustained period of time, the AJ iPower promotion will not continue. If the proclaimed leader of AJ, Michael Davies has some real business acumen, he already foresees the time when AJ will stop performing as it is now and has something else lined up already. It would be stupid for him to waste all the traffic and the affiliates.

Oh, and I got a reply to my PayPal question within less than 48 hours. Cheques only I am afraid, so we will all have to wait a bit longer for that screenshot (photoshopped scan in this case).

AJ online tracking now reports $739.

    Cheers,

    OiZoo

    Another affiliate junk !...
Dont lose your money or time, few are promoting and saying hey quickly join, look I made $5.000.-$10.000.-(from your money ;) ) But no prove, no nothing, part of the scam.Better safe then sorry... If sounds to good to be true then must be not true.

    Here is something for everyone

This is where it gets a little bit suspicious (well apart from the cheap looking site and the numerous spelling mistakes). In order to receive your free website - designed to make you all this money - you have to have a domain name and hosting account.

But… unfortunately this miraculous website won’t work on any host - it only works on the IpowerPro Hosting Plan, and you have to use their affiliate link to sign up.

The hosting currently costs $59.40/year (was $7.95/month in November 2007) and the domain name costs $6.50. So you will have to spend $65.90US to participate. Once they receive your email with your hosting account details and they have confirmed that you used their affiliate link, they will upload your website and credit your account with $75 dollars to go towards your first payout.

Users are then instructed to use the $30 worth of adwords and $50 worth of Search Marketing from Yahoo! to advertise their affiliate website on “make money online” type search results pages. And if a user signs up for the affiliate program your account is credited with $2.

The logic being, refer 100 people to join, receive $200, etc, etc.
    Problems with the system

Unfortunately most affiliates will never get paid. Simply because to qualify for your first commission payment, you must have earned at least $150 (which includes your $75 hosting credit) and have operated an active and approved account for a minimum of 45 days.

To get your needed 38 referals ((38 x 2 = 76) + 75 hosting credit= $151), your $80 dollars worth of advertising won’t necessarily work. Simply because the “get rich online” or “online home business” adwords are very competitive, and are not cheap if you want a high ranking. Also there will be increased competition from every other affiliate targeting the same phrases.

You will have to dip into your own wallet to purchase more adwords, or work very hard trying to promote more traffic to your affiliate website. Which is beyond the means of most affiliates.
    The Beauty of the Scam

The people behind Affiliate Junktion have thought of an ingenious way to make money. I kind of have to give them credit for the way they have set up this illegal (in many countries) and highly unethical scam.

The way the scam works is for every IpowerPro Hosting Plan they sell, they get $100 US in commission from Ipower.

They would be getting a lot of commissions from the thousands of people who have signed up to promote the affiliate program. Who doesn’t want to spend $65 to earn $150 a day, particularly if it’s guaranteed.

The $75 hosting credit they give affiliates to cover the cost of hosting is actually in New Zealand dollars, at the moment $75 NZD equals $59 USD. So for each new affiliate AJ is netting at least $39 USD (100 - 59 - 2 (commission to the affiliate who signed up the affiliate) = $39).

Also when it does come time to payout those affiliates who have earned more than $150, they also pay them in New Zealand dollars. $150 NZD = $118 USD; that’s a profit of $32 dollars per payout.

As for the guarantee that you’ll earn $150 per day or they’ll pay you $150, it’s conveniently disappeared from the terms and conditions, or it’s because you haven’t followed the instructions step by step.

To summarize, let’s say Affiliate Junktion had 10,000 affiliates. A guestimate of 60% of these would never qualify for the first payout (6,000 x $100(Ipower commission) = $600,000), while 40% may actually refer enough people to get paid (4,000 x $32 = $128,000).

The thing that may be even more valuable is Affiliate Junktion now own a very valuable email list, full of people who are interested in making money online. They say in the privacy policy that they won’t sell it to anybody, but they also say “AffiliateJunktion.com reserves the right to change this policy at any time.”

There have been reports of some people making money, but like every pyramid scheme like venture, the majority of people won’t make any money, they’ll just lose it.

I have just been scamed by AFFILIATE JUNKTION (NEW ZEALAND).The following is what you can expect to happen as soon as you go through their paying procedure in OMEN.

1.-You are asked to buy a web site and hosting-You will be charged 89 us dollars.Even if they say that they will give you a bonus for that of 75 dollars, just forget it!!. they have already scamed you!.

2.-You wait for two days until you receive the first news from them.In this email ,they again expect from you to buy again another web site and hosting!!and make no mention to the money you have already spent previously.

3.-You tried to confirm the registration process in other to get the log in information. Then you follow a full contradictory process of registration with do´s and don´ts .You will complete them and then:

4.-You will receive another email telling you you have committed some mistake in your registartion procedure(of course, you didn´t!),and that you just need to go through one more step email.

5.-In this email you confirmm again your registration procedure and then they send to you the "AFFILIATE WEBSITE PACKAGE" with nothing in it but more publicity about them and again requiring from you to buy "AGAIN"!!! another web site from OMEN.In this email, which is the last one you will receive from them, you don´t get any log in info about the website you bought

6.-Then, you will complain at their AFFILIATE JUNKTION SUPORT DESK.After having registered(if you ever can do it, it is full of tricks)you will submit your complaints and they will answer you that they "had already sent to you the log in information(which they didn´t), but that you should have cancelled your mail spam service , otherwise, you don´t get that log in email. This is not true as you have recieved all their emails so far, but you never receive the most important one"the email with the log in info to the site you bought"

7.-I f you complaint futher, they just keep on sending robotic emails asking you to have a look to your spam emails with the log in info .

    BEWARE!!!

There are many people or maybe the same guy who is/are posting that they are earning thousands of dollars a month, and that they are even getting paid for that, but this just ANOTHER SCAM.They scam you right at the beginning so there are not even any web sites for you and much less any money at the end of the month.DON´T TRUST ANY OF THESE POSTS AND BLOGS SUPPORTING AFFILIATE JUNKTION .They are the only ones who are earning this money out of this TRICKY SCAM !!!

I write all this, in the hope noone else get scamed as me and you save your 89 dollars for a better bussiness.

Again. I assure you that as soon as you pay, you will experience what I did as it is an autopilot software .

    good luck !!

    Antonio

    Hi millzynator

I had been paid by affiliate junktion after 90 days. Even though they mentioned first payment will be after 45 days, no one will get this on date!!! strange.
I spent over 200 usd to get 791 nzd and finally dropped to 434 nzd.
