I just thought I'd share bit of knowledge that I have on building sites for getting money from adsense and getting visitors to it. I'll be covering major methods such as blogging and making use html. Adsense can make you real rich but the amount of visitors has to be high. About 10000 impressions a day can get you 300$ a month, thats just impressions, that along with clicks can get you good money but reaching 10000 impressions a day is not a very easy task. First decide the topic which you want to target. I've heard people say that websites related to web hosting, insurance pay well. Buy a domain related to that topic and get hosting. Now you can do two things, blogging or make a static html website. If you are going for a static html website, you have to make sure that there are more than 150 pages (this number worked well for me). Get templates or design your own. You'll get thousands of free templates, just search for it. In every page, make sure that the keyword density is more than 5%, this is a SEO thing. Again remember, stick to the topic. Link properly, the subpages should link to the main category which then should link to the index. The index should link to the categories and a sitemap. This worked best for me. The text in the link is also very important. Start buying links from sites related to your niche. Don't go for link exchange, google is hating it these days. Buy some blog posts and stuff like that. Patiently wait. Google PR update should tell you how well you have optimized. Other than that, you also have to make sure that your content is focused on to the topic and keyword density is good!! Try experimenting with different variety of ads and placement. I have written a huge article about this in my blog. After all this you will get good adsense cash. If not, your PR will be good and you can sell your site to someone or sell links. Remember, on the internet, "VISITOR IS THE KING"
Sounds a bit "newbish". Most of the advices are from baseless assumptions and practices. Eg: writing content with 5% keyword density, minimum of 150 pages for static sites, creating sites related to high paying keywords, 10000 imressions per day paying $300 per month etc. None of them are proven and cant not be generalised. PR as a measure of the optimization of the site is a bit far from reality. But the biggest mistake is creating site for adsense. Yes, everybody is profit motivated, but if you want vistors - create the site for them. Create a site with the aim of helping your visitors to know/do something they can't otherwise. Nobody comes to your site to click on ads. The advice should be, create some useful site that has something unique and helpful to offer. ifvistors love your site, you will end up making money anyways.
Consider 3$ per 1000 impression, 10000 impression a day will give 30$ a day, 30*1 mo = 900$..
