Most of the R&D works for google finance orkut etc are done mainly at the google's hyderabad and bangalore development centres and google is planning huge investments in India

This will offcourse turn out to be a big thread.There is no point in telling that India can never become a SuperPower.

India is on its way and it will go on to reach there.
We have got the brains and the capacity to do that..We have proved our mettle in almost all fields may it be the Space Research,Our Management and Technical Institutes,IT sector and almost anything..

Then how can Google ignore us.. lol..

 

Just because some people from India do invalid clicks, doesnt mean all of them are scamers. You should understand that there are black sheep in every community, religion and region.

Well, what a bad way to start my first post here. But, I also have to put in my 2 cents as this thread is really turning into something. I have lived both in US and India. I know both sides of the world which I guess very few people do here at DP.

There are certain BIG FLAWS in the indian social structure. Only people belonging to some certain classes really have a say there. They are :
1) Politicians 2)Movie stars 3)Cricket stars And 4)rich business tycoons.
In india, any criminal and illiterate can become a politician, He just needs muscle power. There are good ones but their % is low.
2) Movie Stars - what an anomaly for a poor country like India, they are the highly paid guys. They earn so much through ads - my goodness.
3) Cricket stars - (andha ke beech kaana raja). This means one eyed is king among blinds Only a few countries play cricket. The moment China, US, Russia, even Korea and japan start playing, India would always be below them. And these cricket guys are makingmoney. I am not against them making money. But, they dont deserve it when the general poplulation has to work hard to make ends meet.

Day to day need stuffs are expensive in India. For e.g. gas (petrol). Lately, there has been a spurt in gas prices in the international market but it has always been like this in India. For the landing price of Rs. 20 there is tax of Rs. 25 to make it 45.

No social security system and accountability. The taxes .. both direct and indirect is the One of the highest in the world. But, where is the damn social security ? What happens when one falls ill ? The politicians spend people's money. The darn movies and cricket stars have money but where would the general people go ? Local hospitals are pathetic and big hospitals in major cities are world class but their charges are also world class. On top of that, no insurance co. is willing to provide illness insurance to people above 55 years of age.

oh the list goes on......and I dont thrive on false pride

East european guys around Russia are the best programmers or hackers. They have ingenuity while indian programmers are just office goers. Its the culture here, it expects you to be good and slog in office.
As for Piracy, China, Philippines, etc. rulez . I have seen CDs being marketed for a dollar in stores as if it is
something legal there. Nobody cares and it is the way of life there.

As for scammers etc. and esp. in this IM scenario. All are here to earn money. Great gurus like Frankie (Frank Kern) is charging $2000 ++ while he puts up videos of himself zipping around in his fancy cars. There are two types of internet marketers. One who earn thru internet ie. adwords, adsense, ppi, cpa etc and other who earn through ripping newbie marketers selling them pdf in the garb of doling out the ultimate secret to online riches.

Flame or deride me if you may but first refute me here.

I think same tht google doesnt want Indians makin $$$,

Mine adsense got banned with no reason, just sayin its linked to previously banned account,
It got a balance of 1600$ and also same month mine 1900$ google check get bounced. I contacted many times google official but no answer frm them ...

So left adsense now workin in cj and Epn, and makin much more than adsense

If they start there work without Indians Google will never become a No.1 Internet company .

Orkut - Most are Indians there.
Google Search - Almost all Internet Indian users use ONLY GOOGLE(even most People doent know that Yahoo,Ask are there for you to search the Internet)

You can take example of Yahoo
YPN is NOT in india thats why Yahoo is not Like Google (No.1)

Even though i hate Adsense
Very less money in adsense , Adsense bans guys with out any reason (this is fact that they BAN indian guys specially without reasons)

Sorry those from India but your biggest threat is in your own back yard and your caste system......you're at least 100 years behind in trying to get where developed nations are now.

Who says !! Google Is on top With help of INDIANS. I agree person above me (Cchetanonline) but not about adsense. I know Indians are CTR Guru Rather We are Great management Guru. Even after banning in Adsense many people create more Adsense accounts . Who says google hate them. MAny are still there.
