It seems to me the Palestinians don't prosper or help any place they go. The Jews still have not went on a slaughter spree as hitler did. This is the best way I can explain it: When the people of a land don't control EVERYTHING it get's taken. The Indians were here but there was no government. The only reason we call them Indians is because when Christopher Columbus hit the Americas he was trying to get to India the long way He never made it, he still called the people he did see Indians anyway. And that's why we call the Native Americans Indians. The only real Indians are in India. Calling a Native American a Indian could be an insult.
i found this article and i thought it might move things along. this article not only shows that the jewish imigrants knew that there is a palestine but also they did not fear the palestanians at this time.
Unfortunetly people who make decisions (indirectly by voting) about Israeli-Palestinians conflict don't know things like that. All they know is propaganda backed up by AIPAC and similar organisations. For example just check Ckrismoneys posts. It's more than obvious that he don't know much about that conflict but he is convinced that "Palestinians wants to kill all jews" and that's the whole problem in his eyes!
