Not sure if this will be understandable so am describing as best I can. How do you feel about this? I have existing 728X90 banners I wanted to put on other pages I've built. Instead of opening the AdSEnse set up tab in my acount and creating new code, I simply went to an existing page and copied the code for an existing 728X90 banner and pasted it in the HTML of this page. So, in essence, if I have code for link units, banners & rectangular ads etc. why can't I just copy the code from those existing pages and paste in the HTML of other pages.....rather than having to setup more accounts and then copy & pasting from a new account?
I am not so understand what you mean. do you mean copy old format adsense code and paste to your new web page ?
It is perfectly fine. If you are sure that you are going to use the same format for all pages, then you can do it. You must remember that if you change the settings for one page, it will be changed for all pages. Another option is to use the old styled units in which the colors etc are mentioned in the code.
Adulu: Yes, you are guessing right because Sachin410 is right on. Basically I am laying all of my pages out using basic tables and there is no specific format the pages are supposed to follow. A banner of 728X90 used a year ago, was pasted into another page just recently using the same code....so it looks as though you have cleared up my fears!
This is perfectly fine, but you will not be able to distinguish this ad from your other one since it will have the same channel code embedded in it. But otherwise, you will still get credit.
Thanks FlashGordonWeb & Terminator69....Yeah, I was sort of wondering about that. Basically so long as I am still getting credit like Flash says. I even have several sites running AdSense I have taken AdSense code from, and pasted into pages on other sites. In essence, my google_ad_client is still the same in the code throughout all ads on various sites....THANK YOU for verifying if this was all right!
