I have my domain register at hostmonster but I don't like their service. I was talking with someone and they reccomended me to joker.com but joker.com is only for registering domains. After I register a domain there, what should I do? Do I host at home? Thanks for any/all suggestions.
1) My site goes unavailable 2-3 times a day for 5 mins each time and live chat always says it was maintenance and its back up now, nothing more. 2) I bought hosting for 1 year, and this was my 2nd month. I embedded videos from YouTube and they suspended me for having porn on my site, but clearly YouTube doesn't even allow porn. 3) I had 2 domains. 1 site was for videos and 1 was a blog about hockey. My blog got suspended because my other domain had non-porn videos.
HI, I came up with a nice 11-step start up plan for Newbies. It's way too long to mention here, but I have it in my sig. I hope that helps you. Success, Sam
I host most of my websites with hostgator, i used to be with Powweb but once they got bought out there service and Mysql problems became shocking. Hostgator is good because you can host multiple domains on the one package !
Once you have bought a domain name, you'll need to find a web hosting company. We provide web hosting so if your interested then visit our website: www.electro-host.co.uk Thanks.
I'd go on Google and shop around for reasonable & reliable hosting. Watch out for "hosting review" websites- more often than not, you'll see that their sites are made up entirely of affiliate links encouraging you to sign up with a host that pays well to affiliates. It may be hard to find honest reviews but you'll find them here and there.
