List of Dutch directories

Following my recent thread with a list of German article directories and another thread with a list of German website directories I also assembled a list of Dutch website directories and article directories. All directories and start pages are free and non-reciprocal directories in the Dutch language only, where most are from the Netherlands and a few are from Belgium. The list is sorted by Google PageRank, where the Google PageRank is current as of may 2008, i.e. just after the third PR update of 2008. Enjoy the list!

1. ArticlesBase.com (the Dutch version of ArticlesBase.com is very obviously machine-translated and is deservedly unranked)
2. phpLD Nederland (PR=3)

There is a comprehensive list of Dutch start pages on the website of Zoeksite.nl. The website Zoeksite.nl also contains a Dutch search engine for Dutch search engines.

Cheers, mate! It cost me some blood, sweat and tears to assemble this list, since directories in Dutch are hard to find, especially the Dutch article directories. You can't even find them on CanadianEh's massive list of web directories!

 

Yeah ive noticed some countries dont have quite so many web directories around, you can find thousands from counties like poland, romania and places like that.

Quite a few from spain and germany and france but others are more scarce.

Just use google translate.

 

Be careful with that! It is still a machine that does the translation and computer translation algorithms are hardly ever flawless (even Google Translate!). For instance, your post in the thread with the list of French directories contains several translation errors. Translation by a native speaker is still the best.

True, i agree, no online translation tool is going to be 100%, ive still submitted with translations done online, but im aware that its far from ideal.
