torrent help

    hello folks.. i use to download a lot from torrents..
    my download speed is 30 kb/s at an average..
    is there a way to make torrent downloads faster?

    nope.. :p even if there are more that 10000 seeds and peers, all i get is the same :(
    i wonder if there's some external entity that makes downloads thru torrents faster:rolleyes:

    External entity? it is controlled by whatever internet connection you have.

    Want faster download speeds? call your ISP and upgrade.

    Well the choice is yours.

    Look in your torrent client. Are you sure there isnt a 'Download Limit' or something similar?

    Use rapidshare premium, sure you will satisfied with it. I get around 290 Kbps using 1 Mbps connection.

    You are lucky to have 30kb/s at average, if only i can have that speed, over here, its like about 3kb/s at average due to country here block most of the torrent and p2p. :(

    Obviously not going to help the OP in the slightest because he mentioned the torrents he downloads have a lot of seeders. AKA the maximum speed he can download anything at all is 30kb/s so RS acc. would be a waste of money.

    You could try lowering the max upload speed to like 10 kbps. I dont know if this makes the download go faster, but it seems to make your internet faster in general without hurting the download speed.
