It depends what attitude you maintain while coming into that money. You need to examine your self every once in a while.

Most people believe it's the money that changes people. Generally its the journey they usually had on getting to that money.

It's like someone knowing me from say High School . They meet me five years later and I am a millionaire . They may think , Oh he's a bit stuck up now "must be the money". That is a poor, poor stereotype.

Yeah it can, it can also get rich people bored real quick. I have heard of many rich people trying to commit suicide for one reason or another... probably not satisfied.

I believe the words of Jim Rohn were something along the lines of "Become wealthy, not for the sake of the money, but for what you become thru the proccess of becoming wealthy" or something like that. Suggesting that you will change. I think the people who let wealth change them into monsters are those whom wealth is thrust upon suddenly. Take Mike Tyson who went from slums to $40 million to broke and a ruined life. Not that he didn't work for it, but that it all came so suddenly. Lottery winners whose lives are ruined, all these Diva music stars becoming massively wealthy at 15 and then their lives fall apart etc...
Sorry didn't mea to go all philosophical and all...

Dunno if money can change a person, but I can say having no money humbles the crap out of you.

It all depends on the individual, some people are more humble than others,
if a humble person gets a huge sum of money I do not think it will change
    them in any way.

I'm a bad guy because i have no money, i'd be happier if i had a lot of money. And probabily wouldn't be in a bad mood everyday and everytime.
Of course, i'd be a monster when it becomes to some people that i want to make to pay for some stuff they did to me.
But in general lines, money would make me a better person (or will have me excluded from the world).

It would probably depend on the person.
I heard it changes one's "outlook" of the world.
