How many of you receive random positive rep for no reason in the hope you will reciprocate the rep? Have these members actually considered being helpful on the forum and deserving of their reputation?
I think 'deserving of their reputation' isn't a requirement for rep!!!!! Case in point...what's an insane wacko doing with 3,922 points!!!
I often get "spreading rep" type reps where they expect it in return. An indian told me on MSN that lots of Indians like to share rep amongst each other and between family and friends etc - that is why so many of them have high rep.
I am an Indian, but I dont get random reps maybe because none of my family or friends are member of dp...but who cares...I am happy with what I have
Dont take it as an insult....I think its just a friendly thing where they help each other out. Kind of cool really if it brings an atmosphere to the forum...
I agree with you Nintendo as long as you knew you are not bothering anyone with or without reputation that is just fine

I don't even care that much about rep, if I find something really useful or funny I +rep someone.. How can the whole spreading rep thing work if you can't even see who left you the rep? Isn't rep just a way to support someone? Like saying you agree or disagree?

Yep i agree with the general concensos in here, who gives a flying f**k about rep. Rep means nothing its the value and quality in the posts you produce that count
People use this rep to sell things in B/S/T. They believe if u have good green bar then ur trustworthy or ur product is legit or ur genuinely a nice person - well thatz worse than hiding ur gay zandoos.
