What is the best/cheapest method for processing credit card payments through my small bussiness site I am running?

I am only going to be handling 25-50 items at a time, plan on selling 1-2 per week.

sure , you can use paypal , according to your needs you can do buisness in your name via premier account , or by your company name or group's name by buisness account , the fee is less and best for buisness purpose.

The best is to use paypal only.
Get a new Business account and verify it with your credit card and always keep around 50-100$ in it for emegency uses.

The thing I dont like from 2 checkout is its $600 min withdrawal, pp is lower but its security and chargeback heard manytimes as horror stories.

    Yes, 2checkout is good.

My paypal true experience & fact, see below the pic link.
Just want to tell out the fact, though the money is very very little small.
It will hold your temporary money for inquiry by payal ( I am seller)
I have contact the buyer, he saild he is helpless within its account, maybe also open case.
And I have writen 2 complain letters to US ebay and Hk ebay (its monther company)
and I am careful on not putting too money in it,
    bank is the safest.

I will use paypal for less bucks transaction afterwards, vote more for Alertpay!

If you are serious about making money online, paypal is one payment processor you can not do without. You simply can't expect a lot of sales if you don't use paypal.
