buying traffic worth it?

just wondering if it was worth it to buy traffic. i found a website that looks somewhat reputable called http://www.i-web-marketing.com/ and it has really good rates on traffic.

i know that you can use google to buy traffic but this seems much cheaper, although im aware its a lot less targeted

has anyone used anything like this before, and if so can you tell me if its worth the cost? thanks!

Things like google are better (adwords). Using a site like PTC where you just purchase hits, usually just uses programs or just have users coming to your site trying to earn $0.001 so they will only be there for 10 seconds.... not really worth it in my standards.

I'd stick to advertising on boards like this one and web-lounge.info

I have not found any services yet that perform well. I am testing one right now and got about 7,000 hits and only 1 lead. You just have to track your traffic and see what converts. It really depends on what you need the traffic for. If it's for sales and leads, it's worthless.

Well, I'd hate to say it; but most people who are spending hours per day on PTC sites don't have a mind, therefore not really caring about health :S.

Buying traffic is a waste of time. You won't convert any visitors so all you're doing is wasting your server resources and bandwidth. Look for other solutions to get "qualified" traffic. PPC, SERPs, links from related sites that will get clicked, etc.

Things like Google AdWords can be VERY cheap CPC if you are smart and target VERY relevant keywords, but IMO I have bought traffic before, and I would prefer to have 5 potential customers, then 5,000 Indian user's who aren't good with English and are only at my site, because they clicked a link by accident. But by far, I like FREE traffic, it's all about relevancy! I have many site's on Google's front page for different keywords, and have conversions from free article marketing.... Nothing feels better!

Targeted traffic is the way to go. Google Adwords can be good but full page popunders are also an excellent way to generate leads and sales. Check out my sig and don't hesitate to shoot me any questions you may have

If one can afford it buying traffic whether it is buying it directly or ppc is the fastest way to go. however make sure when you buy traffic that it is a legitimate site.

I tried i-web and it was terrible. I have tried other traffic schemes and they were also terrible. I would never buy traffic again unless I just want to give someone useless cash. Find other ways to get known but leave this one for the birds.

well in my point of view buying traffic is only good if the source of traffic is pure humans and also if it is targeted...

Well PTC Traffic and Traffic from Pop Under will never be a source of targeted traffic for your site.

I agree. Pay per click ads are better than buying traffic because you're not sure if the traffic is quality not like Pay per click ads visitors are clicking you're ads because they're interested.

I would never buy traffic. There are so many free ways-forum postings, YouTube vids, articles, press releases etc... don't waste your time or money.

NO! get it FREE with my guide! Dead serious, DON'T waste your money on traffic when doing what I do will have it FLOCK in DROVES AND give you a PENNY EVERY TIME! Look at this, this is ONE DAY, I started this stream of income and traffic flow at roughly 10PM last night. It took FIVE MINUTES:

I have made TWELVE CENT for nearly EVERY one of those visitors, about $11.00 in all, AND they have been returning to look around my site. They CAME to click on my monetized links. They, nor I, have broken ANY rules and is coming straight from a myspace site - legitimately. It looks like the returning goes down fast, but MANY of those pages are 2 and 3 page views.

The blacked out part is my IP and information.

That is ONE implementation of my five minute method - it is NOT my highest performing by any means and was chosen because it is ONE day old. It will grow and grow and eventually level off and float for a while. I have nearly 35 similar streams setup, which sometimes perform this well, often perform better, and very rarely flop. This method is so easy though and you never replace stuff (because even slow money is good money), instead you just implement again and see what happens.

It's like a game "How many more visitors can I get today for free without doing a SINGLE THING seo related?" lol

Even if these results aren't what you're looking for, look somewhere else than paid traffic - you need the traffic to be natural so you know how it was created. You need a system with full control.

You all ever notice that it is JUST the charts that are being shown???

One time, just ONE time I'd like to see a screen print that also shows the site's page in which these charts are in.

If you all get my drift. ;)

I suggest you don't buy any traffic. Such traffic isn't targeted at all.

This means that you will not see any increase in earnings from that traffic.
