Favicon Not showing Up ? :S

    Hey All,
    can someone tell me why my favicon is not showing up ?
    I uploaded it in my root folder public_html but didnt show up :s
    its 16x16 and saved as favicon.ico of course.

    Hi, clear your browsers cache, then reload your site and it will show up.

    try typing in the URL of the favicon, if you can see it there, then it should appear after u clear ur cahce, else upload it again.

    Ok when i go on http://d2-link.com/favicon.ico
    it shows me this:-
    The Image cannot be displayed because it contains errors
    Code (markup):
    How can i fix it /??
    Like what can the error be? :S

    Maybe the permissions. Check the file permissions. It should be world-readable.

    I tried setting the permissions to 666 and 777, and still didnt work :s
    thats wierd.

    Dude! This is 2nd time when i'm telling you how to do.

    For Christ sake add this to your header: <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" />

    Right now you don't have that added to your head. How to you want favicon shoing up?

    Dude, thats already in my header, as my last favicon was showing up, this 1 isnt !!

    Thats not trrue. Last night when I checked your source code that wasn't there.
