Do a search for threads like this. The consensus is usually that people dislike the American government or it's policies, not Americans, their economy, culture or society.

Whoever militarily harresses you, whether they think they are right or not, you hate them, not unique to America. Other things like culture , economy, people etc., i don't think any sane person hates America for those, maybe dislikes but not hates, hate is a strong feeling that just doesn't show up that easy. Also, I think, it's snobbish to think everyone is either anti or pro-American, most of the people just don't care much at all.

Well I'm American, but my guess is that we are one of the strongest if not the strongest country in the world so people will hate you for that, its like sports, alot of the time people with unbiased opinions want underdogs to win. Americans and the people of other countries have alot of patriotism which creates alot of conflict.

Also I see many Americans are hypocrites (ex. many claim to be religious, but how many of them attend church on a regular basis? follow the teachings of the bible?)

With a thread entitled, "why do you hate America?"

Forgive my skepticism, but what could possibly be positive with respect to such a topic?

    Ignorance.

That simple. Too many ignorant people.

Once ANYTHING becomes great, a person, a nation, a body of men, there is an increased risk of arrogance. In America for instance, we have too many people that take for granted the POTENTIAL of freedom, and they therefore become ignorant.

When you live a rough life, however, like some of the poor countries, a lot of the people take great value in more things and have little ignorance. That's not to say capitalism is a bad thing, very much the opposite. Welfare, in the way that it is implied in modern days, is a VERY bad thing because it encourages laziness and IGNORANCE.

I don't hate America I hate some laws here.

Maybe you should have changed the title to "What do you hate about America" then my answer would be, because they say it's legal for a woman to kill her child if she wants to. Even if it's halfway out of her womb.

What kind of whore would do that? An American whore, why? Because she can!

I think I'd have to say just basically the entire U.S. government. I also hate all the tourists. Especially the ones that talk down on America and its people and then want to come visit this "piece of shit country full of ignorant fat assholes"

    Yep

I was about to mention the same thing (no I'm not American)

To the OP - it's your perception that everyone hates Americans. Generalizations are a bitch.

It's very difficult to hate everything about everyone in a whole country. I think that question can be more specific.. reworded.. And also consider, America is made up of people, cultures, races, from every country in the world, every single country in the world... which means that by generalizing such a diverse topic you are also saying you hate people who are also from your own country... because they are included in "America". It's simply a bad question. Be more specific.. Do you hate American politics? Do you hate American leaders? Do you hate American customs? Culture? Food? I hate Japanese food, but I don't have any problem with Japanese people. I hate dogmatic religions but I don't have any problem with someone who has personal beliefs. I hate when people talk too loud, but I don't hate the people doing it.

Given that the government is the people, I guess that means the people are hated to...

Seriously though.. Generally the same nut balls around the world that have always hated us, still do. Nothing has changed. The ones that proclaim to take the stance you've described are generally the mindless knobs that are young, angry and probably living with mom and dad, or have been bred into entitlement programs.

What is hated is not the government or the people. It's our lifestyle. And I would argue it is jealousy, not hate that drives an outsiders hatred/view of American and Americans. The self loathing degenerate whiner, or moonbat who is an American and hate America does so because they feel guilty about their lifestyle, freedom and opportunities.

Shouldn't this thread be merged BTW? Are there not already several similarly themed threads?
