I'd like to say here there is a site where you can check your PR. If you don't have the Google ToolBar, this is a good option to check it. The url is http://www.aragstore.com/ Thx.
Your site has no PR right now. If you don't like the Google Toolbar for some reason, you can use sites like: http://seopen.com/seopen-tools/pagerank.php
There are lots of websites they provide free pr checking tool like as : seochat.com and seobook.com and webconfs.com.
Yes my site is PR0 because my site is new. In fact, basically, this is my first site, i put this tool in my site and i'm just offering to others like others sites. Thx.
Thx... And my site just will be one of that lot. I'm just offering the free tool to anyone who want to use it. Regards. Reinaldo.
Reinaldo83, Thanks for the resource. Realize there are plugins for both ie and firefox/mozilla, and that many of these checking tools do this now online. This being a new site, I believe you may have been trying to offer a service for people who dont want to install the toolbar, and as a secondary result, push traffic to the site, benevolent or otherwise. There is nothing wrong with this technique. It is a viral marketing method. But this particular method may not yield the desired results for you as it is antiquated and, imo, ineffective. Again, you have the right idea.......continue your quest on providing useful tools and services that are free or that you can build yourself, and consider several methods to let people know about them. But be careful, in particular, about checking the google pagerank, backlink checkers, etc, because as you build your traffic, if you have 100 users using the tool at a time, your IP of the webapplication may get banned from google......... Instead, it may be more beneficial to offer some cool desktop applications that are unique, free, and provide time savings. Same for webapp ideas. good luck.
Hi... I'd like to thank you a lot... Very very informative your post, i was looking for an opinion about my first web site and even without asking for that i got it. As i said, this is my first site, and i though that too, i have to offer some quality content or some free services to get traffic. I though a PR checker would be fine but then i though that, there's a lot of tool on the internet... I tried to think what else can i offer, but i don't know yet. I think it's really hard to do this, sometimes i am positive and sometimes i am frustrated. Well, now you have prevented to me about my PR tool, i think i will be removing it or just completing the PHP to prevent lots of people using it at a time. I want to thank all you guys for your positive, i'm just trying to do my best... That is my first web site and it took to me about 2 months because i didn't know absolutely nothing about PHP in january, i've started to study PHP in february and now i think i know some great things about PHP but now i have to build some great sites and work in SEO for those. I've built the site using joomla too, but it's really hard to add 2.8millions USD in products manually, for that i've decided to learn PHP, and i've made it with this. Thank you again, and if you have any other comment or any idea you wanna share with me for my site i will be very thank you. Regards! Reinaldo. P.S.: Sorry for my english, i know it isn't very good.
Good choice of Joomla for your first site platform. It's very scalable so you have plenty of room to grow.
reinaldo83, dont worry about the English. First, I dont speak any other language, so you are way ahead of me in that department. second, i am not hiring you and telling you about project specifications, so I have no expectations. For me, the language barrier comes into play when I want a complex webapplication, and the programmer's english is not native. I have had nothing (one exception) but headaches. reinaldo83, please read my other posts.......since you mentioned seo, you may pick up some tips if you read them. Remember, they only reflect my opinion and experience. seo is quite a controversial field, and there are little FACTS unless the developers of google and other search engines show you the code........ Even their spokespersons misinform. Not sure if it is intentional, but my experience with something is in stark contrast to their statements on occasion. If you want to know more about google, go give matt cutts a visit (he works for google) mattcutts.com/blog/ (add http:// i still cant post links. grrrr) good luck.
Thank you for all your comments... I will read your other posts to learn more about seo, i think i'll do it tomorrow because i have to go out right now. I've saw some Matt's videos and i've found it very usefull, the little i can follow him, hehe. BTW, i will be thinking in web-apps to offer in my site or others. Thx again... Regards. Reinaldo.
