Hello All, One of my clients, has sent me money to Email ID (to my paypal ID) My Email ID is: and the client has sent the money to Instead of y, he used v. What is the solution now, is there any he can get back the amount ? i have sent the correct Email ID, but he has typed it wrong
If that email address is unregistered, you may be able to create it and add it to your PayPal account. It may also be able to be canceled on the sending parties end.
Overall there is no fault from your side as you have sent correct email id but your client typed it wrong. Ask your client to contact paypal and reverse the payment. DON.
If you provided the correct email address, the onus is not the sender to dispute or cancel the payment. It is not your fault or responsibility and just ensure that the sender sends you the money before you shipped anything. As long as you have not shipped anything, it cannot be considered that you lost money, the sender maybe but not the seller.
Hello All, Thank you so much for all your reply. I will ask the client, to cancel the amount at the paypal side. luckily, there was no Email ID (what the client has used) I will ask the client to with draw that and send it again.
Hello all, Thank you all so much. for your help. I have done, like hav0c said. the same Email ID was not existing and I created that and I added to PayPal. I got my money. Good Idea...hav0c.
I really love happy ending !!! while going through the post i really was concerned about u it was a smart suggestion
Good Luck and make sure next time your client pays to correct id coz not everytime, you'll be that lucky. cheers!
i always wonder what would happen if you send the money to the wrong address.. hopefully the buyer gets the money.. i know this can be a long process, that sucks
Next time use the Paypal Request for Money or Invoice or the Buy Now button so that these things don't happen. It would be the proper way of receiving money for goods and services anyways.
Well, it is a given fact since the Personal account is NOT supposed to be used for any fund transfer to you which involves you making a profit, ie no sales of goods and services allowed for Personal accounts. So basically you should not expecting people to send you money into your personal account unless it is your friend or family.
If for that e-mail is not registered a Paypal account you can create a new account and after that you can transfer to your Paypal account. If not you can talk with Paypal team via phone and will help you.
