if you have the knowledge but not the time .. you can always hire a free lancer and tell them to work your way ... and ask for a monthly report ...
Some SEO guys are v. good. As with all purchases do a bit of research first so you know you aren't be sold a donkey. By the time you've done this you might decide you can do the job yourself.
The thing I don't understand about SEO freelancers and SEO firms is if they are so good at SEO then surely they'd be better off creating their own websites and promoting them, thus keeping the benefit to themselves, rather than promoting the competition.
Most of us guys have maybe a few web sites that are ranking very well. However, the work we do is for companies that sell real or digital products. You might be thinking of Adsense revenue in this regard. Building a high ranking web site does in no way guarantee a solid income from Adsense. I know plenty of site owners with 5000k uniques per day who are only making $500 per month in Adsense. It's a lot of hard work for little reward when you think of it this way. Sometimes we need to sit back and take in the whole picture before making such a large comment. Col
I did with paypal as well as credit card company. Paypal said, it will be better if work with seller directly. I don't have too much hope.
some seo firms talk about optimization, and page rank...and they only have page rank 1 ),or 0 i dont trust them at all
Luckily I've got few very good writers and they write quite good quality content. You need to search them, they are rare. With duplicate content issue heating up you are not going to write unique articles every time?
Because they are too busy talking about optimization and page rank and never get time to optimize their own websites. Its common, and I've observed it quite often. There is more money in client's pocket and all their efforts go there
Funny, page rank is no big deal but if they have been around awhile you would expect a PR3 at least. SEO is all about targeted traffic from the search engines. I would rather have 100 high-quality targeted traffic per day than 500 general traffic or 1000 garbage traffic If you see a SEO company with a title tag that look like this ---> SEO, Best SEO, Guaranteed SEO, SEO, Top SEO, Uber SEO, number 1 SEO, google SEO. Then run!
I admit that i looking after a job related to seo. but this is a friendly advice, study well about seo and link building. Do it yourself. Do not waste your money. you are not sure what they are doing atleast if you did by yourself you will learn. If something goes wrong with your site, ask advice in the forum or look for me.. Thanks
Pretty heated talk in here, sorry I have not followed all of it by I just want to voice out an opinion even if it's worth sh**. (this is addressed to the original Poster) Anyways, I do agree with somebody who posted (didn't get the name) who said there is no secret to SEO. There are millions of blogs/forums/sites publishing all there is to know about SEO. Let's say that you have known all about the basics of SEO, how it is done, the techniques and all the works. But since you have stated that you don't have the time to do all those, then I would say, outsourcing your SEO is a wise choice. Then you asked: 1. Increase amount of SEO work done - My answer to this is yes but it depends on your specification. YOU should set the amount of work to be done. YOU set the goals. There are companies out there who retail their SEO services, say for example 1000 links backlinks related to your site for the duration of 1 month. I think these kind of services are worth considering about. 2. Offer new techniques or carry out old ones better - IMO, there are no new techniques anymore. All of them is out, it is just a matter of manual labor to do all the techniques. My answer to this would also be yes because SEO companies are executing the techniques on a daily basis and experience is a good teacher at efficiency.
carleasingsecrets you post sounded reasonable until you said this: Google changed it's algorithm over 500 times last year and the search engines are constantly looking for new and better ways to index the web. So, even though lots of tried and tested SEO methods will always have a place in the professional SEO's toolbox you have to stay up on all current changes in order to compete.
Yes it does, But results won't be easily seen. It is important to always update the company you hired, for you to know what's the status of your site. htt://www.dcglobal.us
They are in USA? can't help, if they were in UK I could suggest brilliant way to get back your hard earned money
It was 450 times in 2007 and it came directly from the mouth of Udi Manber who is the Vice President of Google and in charge of Search Quality. http://www.zdnet.com.au/news/softwa...50-times-in-2007/0,130061733,339288267,00.htm
Not too convinced. Well not to sure about that if it is really possible, technically, to get such changes happening in an established search engine. PR stunt to keep SEO guys keep busy in guessing what really is going on, and not to mention all those thousands of newsletter spammers who make a mountain out of a mole hill from any news coming out of Google. Nice game though keep playing, I don't listen to them either as it is closed door game and as good as playing national lottery which is nothing but broad daylight legalized white collar robbery played in the name of donation to charity.
I believe it, a lot are small tweaks as well as a data push then a roll back and an hour later another data push after tweaks are done. Also a lot of them only effect specific queries where the results are not up to scratch, or locality based tweaks where unless you were searching on Google.ph etc you wouldn't even notice. 2007 was a fairly big year for changes, they done a lot of tweaks on the devaluation of paid links portion of the algo. As for substantial changes where most people noticed, they would only number in the 20's or less.
