Top 20 Article Directories sites

I wonder about ezinearticles dot com (though I've got perhaps 100+ articles posted there).

When I look at alexa's list of sites linking into my sites (such as those in sigs), the listing (which is by declining alexa rank) shows other article directories but not ezinearticles.com. It's as if though they link they cloak the links.

Does anybody know anything about this? Is that cloaking part of reason they're so high in terms of alexa rank?

So I hit almost everyone of these article directories and they do not seem to allow text links in the body of the article as indicated in the original post. Does anyone have a list of those article directories that really allow links in the body of the article?
