450 clicks and 0 sales

I drove a lot of traffic to a product that I wanted to make commission on Amazon.
I used direct text links to the product, meaning I didn't set up an astore or anything, just a direct referral link to the product.
So.. In 3-4 days, I drove around 450 people into viewing the product.
I mean those were very targeted links saying. "If you want to buy this product follow this link", So I wasn't asking for the viewers just to visit the link for the sake of it, but If they wanted to buy it to follow the link. I check the Amazon stats, 450+ clicks and 0 sales.
What might I be doing wrong. Do I get commission on Amazon right away after the referrals order the product, or the payment should be processed and I need to wait for a few days in order to get commission on my account.

Strangely, so many targeted clicks and 0 sales
But did you check your Ordered items? Оccasionally delivery can take long.
Incidentally my conversion this month is about 21% according to amazon reports. But it is still far from perfection.

 

Is that traffic target to the product? That's really important. Another thing about Amazon product, you have to check the price is good and availability is also important.

 

First of all as an American I wish to apologize for these mental incompetents who can't write complete grammatical sentences with spelled out words. The good news is, if these idiots are your competitors you don't have anything to worry about. If these people are from outside the US, you don't have anything to worry about either because their English language skills are so bad, no one will want to order anything from a web site that looks like it was written by a brain damaged person. I get alot of clicks too and no orders and all I have to say is there are alot of stupid people on this planet. The good news is, you don't have to deal with these people and if you're lucky, you'll never meet any of them! They are what we commonly refer to as the dregs of society. I call them slugs.

No need to be insulting here. Lots of people outside the US provide valuable knowledge here and elsewhere. As a card-carrying American citizen I'm happy to learn whatever anyone has to teach, no matter what language they speak at home.

 

450 click but no order it shouldn't happen with amazon. may be the problem is the product or where target click came from because some of products don't ship outside USA.

BTW, check the Ordered Items, not the Clicks. Clicks doesn't mean people buy your product.

 

Don't feel bad.

Yesterday, I had 1463 clicks from my stores and 0 sales! I guess we all have days like that.

 

Nice way of mudslinging. Language is the medium of communication evolved over centuries. If I say some one who can't understand Sanskrit or Latin, is an idiot how many of you would agree
with me ? People who can't use a language, that too a foreign language are not mentally retarded. It is wise to be humble at least on areas where one is strong!! Just my 2 cents please !!

 

don`t worry is nothing bad i had 996 clicks and 0 sales :S and i drop amazon when i see that maybe it was my product maybe something diff but i don`t know

 

Back to begining my friend, a lot of customer do some works before make decision. They check price, do comparison with other site if your products not good enough why they buy with you.

You could have the same problem as me, I get a lot of clicks but no conversions. I have to look into improving that myself.

I have not click and not order.

 

I honestly would get about 700 clicks before i would get an order and a $0.50 commission from Amazon. I quickly moved on to Clickbank where there is a 60day cookie! Plus all the profits are in US dollars, so here in Canadian with our money worth alot more, its a nice payday!
