There is some problem with directories now and most of them lost their PR and

become useless.

there are list of paid directories from page rank 0 to 10..

Blacksnow, i suggest you look for yourself and you will know if they are good or not, otherwise you might just get spammed here with a lot of directories that are not what your looking for.

Its your responsibility to find what is best for you.

 

First you say they're useless than you ask where you can submit your site. Not a great way to ask for help.

If high PR is you main criteria, expect to find your investment evaporate after a few Google updates.

 

No guys, I am not after high PR. It costs nothing for my because I do not sell links from webs.
I want to get permanent solid links from proper nicher for example Education or Business Start UP
I check Alexa.com, but what is strange for me, directories <50.000 have PR=0 why that?

 

I thought that Google was discouraging directories with paid links?

It would have been more effective if you had asked for what you really wanted - solid links from niche directories that cover your site(s)' topics.

Alexa is quite easy to manipulate and I would suspect anyone trying to make quick cash off a directory would use that vulnerability to enhance their efforts.

 

Directories are not useless, Matt Cutts said right after the big pagerank drop for many sites including directories that bought lots paid links just to increase their page rank.

"Since Google does put weight on directories, Matt says that submitting to directories are okay, provided that the directory accepts quality sites and is not simply a free-for-all link site."

Because Alexa is rubbish and is only used by other directory owners all who for reasons beyond my sense of reasoning feel the need to go to each others websites submitting to each other. Alexa is as useful a measuring tool as an elastic measuring tape.

go to the directory and take a look how much they index.... and have good SERP or not....

Alexa rank and page rank have no connection as far as im aware.

 

They are very well connected - in the sense that they are both easily manipulated lol
