I lost 250$ to delcosys.com, they were supposed to make me my website which will cost 750$ in total, they asked for 1/3rd of the full payment in the first week however on there website it says they don't ask for payments until project is completed. the project was to be completed in 14 days however they took 3 months and have not even reached 1/3rd of competition they dont know how to speak English properly. i issued a claim through paypal a few weeks later *today* i got an email: 250$ is now gone to waste, they didnt give me a refund they didnt even send me 1 line of coding i spent an extra 100$ on a unique design to be made because they couldnt design properly in total 350$ lost. i much rather think a charity will deserve that money i hope they all choke on the money and die. i have posted this message here as i know digitalpoint gets indexed quickly and people will see my warning before they get caught into there scams too. If anyone can help me get a refund i could give them 100$
You didn't lost anything. File a charge back with your credit card company and you will get the money back through them and it will not affect your paypal account (however, the money will be taken from the developer's account). I did many claims with paypal, they will not give you the money back, unless you do a charge back with the CC company. Peace,
I did successfully dispute a charge with Paypal once, and they refunded the money. But azizny is correct; you should ask for a credit from your CC company.
